The project concerning the color design of house facade in the center of Chrudim. The goal is to create a solution which should promote itself as well as commercial tenants.
The primary idea is to use a composition of colors from Edvard Munch's Weeping nude. The color shades are taken from the work, and are used on the facade in the same position as on the painting. The color asymmetry allows the incorporation of the composition and color arrangements of the facades of both surrounding buildings. The red and blue shades placed adjacent each other create a more three-dimensional facade, so as to equalize the difference between the neighboring facades that are quite decorated.
